I would like to share a couple of links to some great reviews by some local hiphop blogs of Spekulation’s EP “Depression Era Music”. It felt great to get some recognition for the hard work that went into this album. Spekulation will be performing a short set at the Baltic Room on October 24th.

Here’s a quick clip from our gig at the Cypress Lounge. Thanks to Josh Rawlings, Adam Kessler, and Jason Parker for a great night of music. Josh, Adam and I have been playing together since we started at Cornish College of the Arts in 2001. It’s been fun to see what they’ve ended up musically gravitating towards, and then bringing all of our shared experiences to a standard that we all enjoy.

I’ll be playing a show this evening with the Josh Rawlings Trio at Neiman Marcus in Bellevue tonight. We will be performing an mix of originals, standards and pop tunes. Show starts at 6pm. Tomorrow evening we’ll be back in the Cypress Lounge at 9pm. Hope to see you there!
